Gardening Tips - Summer
- Just keep an eye on new rose buds & growth for aphids. Prune off old flower heads to promote a second flush of flowers.
- Maintain regular summer watering of your citrus to insure well developed fruit. Keep an eye out for the Orange citrus bug. It needs to be controlled before excessive damage occurs to your tree & fruit.
- Try freshening up your big tree mulching with some mushroom compost.
- Insure mulch levels are high to reduce water loss and maintain some control on summer weeds.
